FlexStaff is seeking a Fraud Specialist for our client, a full-service banking institution, located in Bethpage, NY. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Independently review, examine, and resolve fraud and merchant dispute claims. Monitor member activity and use fraud detection tools to identify and act on potential fraud, escalating emerging trends. Contact members as needed to verify information and respond to escalations/complaints. Maintain accurate case management systems and monitor fraud tool performance. Provide essential support to branches, Contact Center representatives, and other internal fraud/risk teams. Participate in risk initiatives and identify potential risk exposures. Engage in ongoing training to stay ahead of fraud trends and mitigation strategies. Perform other duties as assigned.
