About The Position

We are seeking a Fractional VP, Product & Technology to lead the design, integration, and launch of a unified digital platform for a growing organization. This role is responsible for connecting content, audience engagement, and revenue systems into a single, cohesive digital experience. You will work across leadership, marketing, content, and development teams to translate vision into a fully functional platform that supports audience growth, engagement, and conversion. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and direct execution.

Requirements

  • Experience building and launching digital platforms end-to-end
  • Strong background in systems integration (CRM, CMS, email, payments)
  • Experience working across product, technology, and marketing functions
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution
  • CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Ghost, or similar)
  • Email marketing and automation tools
  • Martech stack and systems integration (APIs, data flow)
  • Hands-on operator with a builder mindset
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and defining structure
  • Strong communicator across technical and non-technical teams

  • Experience in small to mid-sized organizations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Platform Strategy & Build
  • Design and lead the development of a unified digital platform
  • Create clear, intuitive user journeys from first interaction through ongoing engagement and conversion
  • Define MVP scope and future-state roadmap
  • Systems Integration
  • Integrate CRM, CMS, email marketing, and payment/donation systems
  • Ensure seamless data flow across platforms
  • Optimize and unify existing tools while introducing new solutions as needed
  • Audience & Revenue Infrastructure
  • Build systems that support audience growth, segmentation, and engagement
  • Implement email marketing and automation workflows
  • Enable clear pathways for conversion, subscriptions, or membership
  • Execution & Delivery
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Lead implementation, including vendor coordination and oversight
  • Ensure delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with marketing, content, and development teams
  • Align platform capabilities with messaging, campaigns, and growth objectives
  • Establish workflows and collaboration across departments
