We are seeking a Branch Administrator to provide administrative support to the Branch Supervisors in the Force Projection Sector. This is a new role being established in the Force Projection Sector and you will be a key member of the Managing Executive Leadership Team. You will be responsible for day-to-day administrative activities as well as working with a strong Sector administrative team. We recognize the Administrator role as a valued partner in reaching goals. We are looking for a self-directed, highly motivated administrator who thrives on being entrusted with significant responsibilities and sensitive information and can be relied on to make things happen. Primarily be responsible for coordinating and expediting efforts for a driven set of leaders in a fast-paced environment. This includes proactively supporting sector-wide initiatives led by the branch supervisors, executing day-to-day activities, such as maintaining calendars, crafting agendas, and planning meetings, being accountable for handling and closing action items, and providing an innovative approach to leading sector and branch activities and events. Track and coordinate timely responses from branch leaders and staff to data calls, some of which contain confidential information. Anticipate and plan for regularly scheduled activities such as performance and salary reviews, group strategy reviews, overhead and capital planning, IRAD calls, etc. Review documentation and correspondence to ensure accurate information and conformance to guidelines. Serve as an authoritative source of information in response to requests regarding operational practices and procedures. Assist with the development of presentations, to include research, data collection and organization, editing and formatting. Promote the use of communication and collaboration tools to increase partnerships between the Branches and across the Sector. Maintain administrative cognizance over Branch activities, provide insight to the Branch Supervisors and provide assistance to administrative branch staff as needed. In collaboration with the other FPS executive administrators, coach and mentor group admins to ensure a professional collaborative work environment that is responsive to the needs of the technical groups. Meet with Sector admins regularly to support sector-wide initiatives and bring unique skills to help solve sector administrative challenges. Initiate and participate in opportunities to improve practices, including developing process improvement plans and leading plan implementation.
