About The Position

The FP&A Systems & Automation Analyst builds analytical tools, automations, and data models that enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and business insights. Experience with Datarails is essential to drive forecasting, reporting, and consolidation automation across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in FP&A, data analytics, business intelligence, or financial systems management.
  • Advanced Excel modeling; experience building driver-based financial models.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing analytics: throughput, yield, WIP, OEE, material variances, and standard costing.
  • Experience with ERPs (Infor SyteLine, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Excellent ability to translate business needs into scalable analytical and reporting solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and either Python or R.
  • Hands-on experience building models, automations, and reports using DataRails.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain DataRails models, workflows, automations, and datasets to support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
  • Integrate DataRails with Excel-based FP&A tools and ensure consistent data governance across systems.
  • Streamline monthly close reporting packages, AOP processes, budgeting workflows, and rolling forecasts using DataRails and other automation tools.
  • Maintain financial and operational data models for use by FP&A, functional leaders, & executives.
  • Develop driver-based forecasting tools (in DataRails, Python, or SQL) that support rolling forecasts.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI/Tableau and DataRails reporting layers.
  • Deliver analyses on product profitability, margin variance, inventory performance, and operational KPIs.
  • Reduce manual processes across FP&A and Accounting by implementing automation solutions within DataRails and complementary tools (Alteryx, Power Automate, Python scripts, etc.).
  • Support ownership of financial master data structures (cost centers, product hierarchies, KPI definitions).
  • Partner with IT and Data Management teams to ensure system integrity, clean data architecture, and effective cross-system integrations.
