Job Responsibilities Financial Planning & Forecasting Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning processes within Adaptive Planning Build and enhance revenue forecasting models, including backlog, pipeline, bookings, and conversion analytics Partner with business leaders to develop accurate, data-driven forecasts Analyze actuals versus budget/forecast and deliver actionable insights to leadership Support strategic planning initiatives and growth modeling Business Intelligence & Stakeholder Partnership Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards to provide clear visibility into revenue, operational, and financial performance Translate complex financial and operational data into intuitive, decision-ready visualizations Partner with functional leaders to understand business drivers, KPIs, and data gaps Improve data transparency, consistency, and governance across reporting platforms Drive adoption of dashboards and reporting tools through stakeholder training and enablement Act as a trusted advisor, helping stakeholders interpret data and make informed decisions Adaptive Planning – System Owner Serve as the business owner and primary administrator of Adaptive Planning Own platform governance, model architecture, dimensional structure, and data integrity Lead enhancements, new model builds, and continuous optimization of forecasting capabilities Partner with Accounting, IT, and Operations to integrate ERP and other source systems Manage user access, security roles, and workflow controls Develop scalable dashboards, reports, and executive-ready outputs Train business users and standardize planning processes across the organization Act as the primary liaison with the Adaptive vendor and implementation partners Required Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 5–8+ years of FP&A or revenue-focused finance experience Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise Experience building BI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools) Hands-on experience administering or owning a financial planning system (Adaptive Planning strongly preferred) Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, private equity–backed environment Preferred Experience in power, utilities, energy services, industrial, or field services sectors Experience supporting private equity sponsors Exposure to M&A and multi-entity environments CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred Who we are! ⯠RESA Power is a dynamic, people first organization that prides itself on being the employer of choice in its industry!
