About The Position

Are you ready to lead financial strategy at the enterprise level? As the Corporate FP&A Manager at Charter Manufacturing, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the company’s financial future. You’ll lead forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes that drive strategic decisions and long-term planning. This is a high-impact role that partners closely with business units and corporate functions to deliver insights, consolidate performance, and elevate Finance as a trusted business partner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial modeling, or corporate finance
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with BI/reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for distilling complex data into insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proven leadership experience, including coaching and developing team members
  • Ability to build strong relationships across functions and business units

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, CPA, or CMA
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A or Finance with increasing responsibility
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Experience linking operational KPIs to financial outcomes
  • Familiarity with ERP and planning tools (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, Anaplan)
  • Experience leading finance transformation or continuous improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide FP&A processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
  • Build and maintain robust financial models to support scenario planning and strategic decision-making
  • Consolidate financial results across business units (Steel, Wire, Casting) and deliver executive-level reporting
  • Partner with corporate leaders to analyze performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Standardize templates and reporting tools to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes to adapt to evolving business needs
  • Influence the development of driver-based forecasting and planning methodologies
  • Mentor and develop junior finance talent, building a strong pipeline of future leaders
  • Champion Finance transformation initiatives and cross-functional collaboration
