Fountain Worker - Starbucks - MGM Grand
About The Position
As a Fountain Worker for Starbucks at MGM Grand, you will help create a welcoming and memorable experience for guests in a fast-paced, high-energy café setting. With your warm smile and attentive service, you will set the stage for positive guest interactions while supporting daily food and beverage service. By understanding each guest’s unique story and needs, you will truly own their experience—creating WOW moments they will carry with them long after their visit and reinforcing the Starbucks standard of genuine, consistent hospitality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- One year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant preferred
- Previous experience as a Barista preferred
- Previous experience working in Starbucks or a similar environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
- Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
- Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments
- Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures
- Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
- Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
