Summary: This position supports daily foundry operations by performing a variety of production tasks.
Requirements
- The Foundry Laborer works in a physically active environment and must be able to stand for extended periods, safely lift and move materials within established guidelines
- A willingness to assist in multiple areas of the foundry as production needs change is essential to keeping operations running smoothly.
- A pre-employment Background Check and 6 panel (no THC) Drug screen required.
Responsibilities
- Sorting and staging castings
- Handling raw materials
- Assisting with the movement of materials throughout the production area
- Perform rough cast finishing operations—such as grinding and deburring—and blast clean castings to meet quality and surface finish requirements
- Collaborate effectively with teammates
- Assist in multiple areas of the foundry as production needs change is essential to keeping operations running smoothly.
