About The Position
2nd Shift - Foundry Laborer Where heat, precision, and pride come together. There’s a moment in the foundry when everything matters; the temperature, the timing, the pour. That moment is where raw molten metal becomes a finished casting, and it takes skill, focus, and accountability to get it right. This role isn’t just about moving material; it’s about being trusted with one of the most critical steps in the process. If you enjoy hands-on work, working with equipment, and seeing the direct results of your effort at the end of every shift, this position offers steady hours, strong pay, and work that feels meaningful. Every mold you load, every pour you control, and every casting you inspect plays a role in the final product leaving the foundry. This position works Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, starting at $25.73 per hour plus a $1.25 per hour shift premium, providing consistent hours and reliable pay without rotating schedules. Every day you will be challenged to but not limited to: Pour and regulate the flow of molten metal using ladles or hand-controlled mechanisms. Operate a forklift to safely load Allcore molds into the Didion shaker knockout machine and remove them after knockout Inspect castings after the knockout process to ensure all sand and core material are removed and castings are free of defects If you’re looking for stable hours, competitive pay, and a role where your work truly matters from start to finish, this is an opportunity to build something solid every shift.
