About The Position

Support the maintenance and repair of automated foundry production equipment. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to ensure safe, reliable operations on second shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of:
  • AC/DC electrical theory
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Plumbing, piping, and close -tolerance machine repair
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments
  • Understanding of machine sequencing, pressure, flow, and dimensional relationships

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical malfunctions on foundry equipment
  • Inspect machine sequences, identify failures, and restore equipment to manufacturer specifications
  • Modify, repair, and pipe water, air, gas, oil, and related systems as required
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and shop orders
  • Test, adjust, and validate equipment performance following repairs
  • Generate and work from shop orders as needed
  • Operate forklifts and manage materials from the maintenance tool crib
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety regulations
