About The Position

Rexi Group is an AI-native venture studio building companies that reshape how businesses hire talent, deploy AI, and operate globally. They develop and scale ventures supported by shared technology, infrastructure, and global teams. They work across multiple ventures and functions, helping build the teams and systems needed to support fast, effective growth. They move quickly, operate with high ownership, and value people who can build from scratch rather than wait for perfect structure. They’re looking for a hands-on Founding Talent Partner who can build and own the hiring function from scratch, while managing full-cycle recruitment. This is not a high-volume recruiting role — the focus is on bringing structure, clarity, and quality into hiring, and partnering directly with leadership to define how teams are built. They’re looking for a founding talent partner to build and own recruiting across Rexi Group and selected portfolio companies. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who can manage the full hiring cycle end-to-end, while also helping establish the processes, standards, and infrastructure that will support hiring as we scale. You will work closely with leadership, including the CEO, and play a key role in shaping how talent is identified, assessed, and onboarded across the business. In the beginning, you’ll work independently, so this role is best suited for someone who enjoys autonomy, moves fast, and knows how to operate in an unstructured environment. This role combines full-cycle recruiting with a light people operations / onboarding component.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting (startup, agency, or similar environments)
  • Proven ability to independently source, manage, and close candidates
  • Experience hiring across multiple functions (technical + business roles)
  • Experience building or improving recruiting processes/systems, not just executing
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple roles
  • Strong evaluation skills — able to assess not just experience, but potential, drive, and fit
  • Ownership mindset — you take initiative and don’t wait for direction
  • Comfortable working directly with founders and senior stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in venture studios, early-stage startups, or zero-to-one environments
  • Experience setting up ATS, workflows, or hiring infrastructure
  • Exposure to AI, fintech, or technical hiring
  • Experience hiring across the U.S. and Europe

Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle (intake → sourcing → interviews → offer → onboarding)
  • Build and implement recruiting processes, workflows, and tools from scratch
  • Source and engage candidates across both technical and non-technical roles
  • Run screening interviews and assess skills, motivation, and long-term fit
  • Manage interview processes and coordinate directly with founders
  • Partner with leadership (including CEO) on hiring priorities and role definition
  • Improve and structure how hiring decisions are made
  • Support offers, contracts, and onboarding processes
  • Act as a light People partner to ensure a strong candidate and new hire experience

Benefits

  • Build the hiring function from zero and define how talent is brought into the company
  • Work directly with founders and leadership
  • High ownership and real impact from day one
  • Exposure to multiple ventures and global hiring
  • Work at the intersection of AI, talent, and operations
