About The Position

You will architect the backend infrastructure and API ecosystem for a venture-backed startup reimagining clinical delivery through artificial intelligence. This role involves building high-reliability systems that integrate with complex external networks, managing AWS infrastructure, and developing the core connective tissue between advanced AI models and real-world medical operations in a high-compliance environment.

Requirements

• Has 5+ years of experience in backend engineering with Python and a proven track record of designing scalable, secure APIs.
• Possesses deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and managing production environments with strict uptime and security requirements.
• Thrives in an AI-native development environment and is comfortable building complex integrations with third-party service providers and webhooks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust Python-based APIs and backend services that power complex clinical workflows and patient applications.
• Build and manage critical infrastructure on AWS, ensuring hospital-grade reliability, security hardening, and technical regulatory compliance.
• Develop sophisticated integrations with external healthcare data networks and partner systems to enable real-time medical operations.
