About The Position
Join Quest AI as our Founding Designer to shape a revolutionary AI mentor that builds deep psychological profiles to drive user growth. You will lead the creation of a first-of-its-kind "morphing UI" that adapts to individual user psychology, defining the visual identity, motion, and product experience for a $6M pre-seed company from the ground up. Why this role is remarkable: Co-invent a category-defining product alongside repeat founders who previously sold their AI startup to Google. Tackle the unique challenge of designing a morphing UI that reshapes itself based on user behavior with no existing templates to follow. High-impact founding role as employee #4 or #5 with generous equity and direct influence on the company's long-term design culture.
Requirements
- Proven track record of shipping multiple high-quality consumer products (iOS or web) with exceptional visual craft and product instinct.
- Highly proactive "founding" mindset, capable of iterating rapidly and bringing strong opinions on visual direction without needing a brief.
- Native mobile design experience and a genuine curiosity for how AI can transform personalized user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design including UX, adaptive UI systems, micro-interactions, and visual brand identity.
- Collaborate closely with world-class engineers to bridge the gap between ambitious design visions and technical execution.
- Define the motion and feel of the platform to ensure the AI mentor feels alive and responsive to user needs.
