About The Position

As the Founding Engineer at Fig AI, you will partner directly with the co-founders to digitize the $750B food manufacturing industry. You will build sophisticated AI agents that automate complex sales, compliance, and supply chain workflows. From architecting RAG systems to scaling backend infrastructure, you will play a critical role in defining our technical foundation from day zero.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI agents using Gemini and Anthropic to automate 100-page document completions and end-to-end compliance workflows.
• Build and maintain a robust backend using Kotlin and Spring Boot to ingest high volumes of data from customer ERP and CRM systems.
• Work across the full stack to create discoverable product catalogs through semantic analysis and custom RAG implementations.
