About The Position

Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed startup building a new category of consumer social technology at the intersection of AI and human connection. Their vision is to create a fundamentally new type of digital experience—one that moves beyond traditional assistants toward something more dynamic, social, and interactive. Backed by leading investors and operating with a small, high-caliber team, the company is in an intense build phase, focused on rapid iteration, product innovation, and foundational company-building. This is a rare opportunity to join as an early operator and work directly alongside the founding team to help shape the trajectory of the business.

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of experience in consulting (e.g., MBB), venture capital, or high-growth startups
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering complex, high-impact projects end-to-end
  • Strong operational mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience in recruiting, operations, business strategy, or similar cross-functional roles
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
  • High level of resourcefulness, ownership, and ability to operate independently
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-intensity environments
  • Based in (or willing to relocate to) San Francisco and work in-office full-time

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute mission-critical projects across recruiting, operations, and strategic initiatives
  • Build and scale foundational operational systems and processes as the company grows
  • Lead recruiting efforts end-to-end, including sourcing, coordination, interviewing, and process design
  • Act as a key external representative of the company with candidates, partners, and investors
  • Partner closely with the CEO to identify and solve high-priority business challenges
  • Manage multiple high-impact priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Support company-building efforts across hiring, culture, operations, and internal infrastructure
  • Learn new domains quickly and execute across a wide range of business functions
  • Take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive them through to completion with minimal guidance
