The Foundation Specialist is responsible for advancing the Hoag Hospital Foundation’s mission through the planning, coordination, and implementation of assignments in collaboration with internal and external partners to achieve overall Foundation goals. The specialist specializes in overseeing projects, focusing on coordinating and facilitating operations for both internal and external stakeholders. With a strong emphasis on organization, meticulous planning, and attention to detail, this role ensures streamlined processes and fosters effective communication among team members. The specialist ensures a standard of excellence in service delivery to staff, donors, volunteers, and both internal and external stakeholders, nurturing strong relationships and trust. Benefactor Dept: Working closely with the VP, Benefactor Relations, this position collaborates across the Benefactor Team and with Hoag’s highest-level donors to support inquiries, appointments, referrals, and strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. Serving as the central point of coordination, this role ensures seamless communication and alignment across team members to deliver a consistent, high-touch experience that supports donor cultivation and stewardship. The Foundation Specialist will also manage timelines, track progress on key projects, and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, ensuring a cohesive and well-orchestrated benefactor engagement strategy.
