A necessary member of the LSF team, the FLLM will implement and oversee learning and partner relations strategies to enhance the effectiveness and visibility of the foundation's work. The FLLM will lead the foundation's learning practice, managing the deployment of a framework to track LSF's contributions to social change. You will partner with the foundation's dynamic team to foster a culture of regular reflection and inquiry, ensuring insights inform strategic decision-making at every level. The FLLM will also manage strategic relationships with important partners. You will be the primary liaison to LSF's board of directors, developing board communications and meeting materials that support informed governance in close partnership with the executive director. Also, the FLLM will partner with LS&Co.'s communications team to promote LSF's mission through creative communications. You will help identify opportunities to enhance the work of LSF and its grantee partners — both internally within LS&Co., and externally in the broader social justice field. Operationalize and manage the implementation of LSF's Learning Framework across program areas. This will include developing integrated tracking and reporting tools. These tools will consist of dashboards, grantmaking reports, and AI agents. You will track and strengthen LSF's contributions to progress at three levels: grant-, portfolio-, and foundation-wide. You support a range of learning and evaluation functions. These responsibilities include speaking with peer funders, conducting literature reviews and field scans. You will also summarize findings in writing and through data visualizations. Furthermore, you will facilitate educational workshops with foundation staff to promote understanding and collaboration across program areas. Support the planning and coordination of meetings and other opportunities for learning and collaboration with internal and external partners. Stay informed about evaluation and learning trends and best practices, especially those that use AI to improve philanthropic and social justice efforts. C oordinate LSF's board engagements — developing meeting materials and communications that equip directors to serve as strategic advisors and ambassadors for the foundation's work. Provide regular updates on LSF's work, including developments related to program areas and grantees. Collaborate with the LSF team and LS&Co.'s communications team to increase the foundation's external visibility as a valued leader through regular conference attendance, speaking engagements, and publications. Build LS&Co. employee awareness and pride in LSF's work through regular internal engagements, including by coordinating LSF's participation in LS&Co.'s new employee orientation, employee volunteer opportunities, town halls, and other activities. Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations — both within LS&Co., and across the broader social justice field — that advance LSF's mission and influence. Contribute to LS&Co.'s culture. Participate in trainings; talent, diversity, and inclusion workshops; and other activities that positively contribute to LS&Co.'s original culture. You will report to the Executive Director.
