About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Foundation Grants Support Intern to support our Program Manager for Philanthropy and Grants Management, and the philanthropic grants team. You’ll be supporting foundation, corporate, and international grants management work, and assisting with the development and tracking of new grant proposals for foundation, corporate, and international funding, across programs, teams, and projects.

Requirements

  • Completed at least three years of accredited college/university level coursework.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Policy, Nonprofit Sector, Urban Planning, Communications, Business Administration, or other related fields.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and task management abilities.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders and audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced remote work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in internal and external teams with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day obligations and grants management tasks for foundation corporate, international grants and proposals, to help ensure that proposal and funding needs are met across the organization.
  • Coordinate outreach to stakeholders by aiding in scheduling, notetaking, and funder information/outreach summaries.
  • Enter information into spreadsheets, often utilizing formulas.
  • Assist with assembling and editing proposals and due diligence materials.
  • Maintain accurate and updated information in the CRM (grants and relationship management software) as well as in other online systems and documents.
  • Assist with fundraising and research tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
