ECMC Foundation is a nationally focused foundation whose mission is to improve higher education for career success among underserved populations through evidence-based innovation. It is one of several affiliates under the ECMC Group enterprise based in Minneapolis. ECMC Foundation makes investments to remove barriers to postsecondary completion; build the capacity of organizations, institutions and systems; and transform the postsecondary ecosystem using a spectrum of funding structures, including strategic grantmaking and program-related investments, to support both nonprofit and for-profit ventures. ECMC Foundation is seeking internship applications for the 2026-27 academic year. As an ECMC Foundation Program Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the team’s goals and success. Your contributions will include a mission-critical scope of work by assisting with programmatic activities, data and research-related projects, and operations that further the mission of ECMC Foundation. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience, insights, and exposure in various areas related to postsecondary education, nonprofit management, and philanthropy, particularly in strategic grantmaking efforts. Our goal is to help interns grow both personally and professionally, enabling them to enhance their project management and communication skills, gain a deeper understanding of philanthropy and higher education, and make a meaningful impact in the social sector.
