About The Position

Responsible for the setup and operation of assigned mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. Job Details Work Location: Onsite - Mundelein, IL 60060 Shift: 2 (4:00 PM - 2:30 AM) Training: Training will be conducted on 1st shift for approximately 4 to 6 months (6 AM - 4:30 PM)

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Machine operation
• Precision measurement
• Ability to interpret work instructions
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Basic mathematical skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Required to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending and stooping required.
• Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
• Must be able to work in noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Run assigned mechanical equipment efficiently and safely
• Ensure all produced items meet quality control requirements.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints when applicable.
• Utilize required gaging instruments to ensure product specifications are met.
• Conduct basic level machine set-ups.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
