Perform all operational tasks safely in the production environment. Develop a thorough understanding of forming machine operations and glass making process validated by a series of written, oral interview, and on-machine testing assessments. Perform tasks as defined by Libbey standards to reduce variation in all processes. Develop and apply a disciplined approach to problem solving to drive continual improvement within all processes. Develop an understanding and apply LEAN manufacturing methodology to drive continuous improvement in glass quality, cost reduction, and on time delivery to our customers.
