2 years of undergraduate studies working toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering required
Minimum of 2 years' experience in process engineering preferred
Experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry preferred
Knowledge of OSHA/Safety standards and practices preferred
Participation in a significant role on the MOS, either deploying a practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem solving or other applied leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
Validate current manufacturing processes to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, and communicate and conduct training on improvements
Analyze best practices and develop manufacturing processes to achieve plant objectives through problem-solving
Manage systems and process controls, documentation of projects and standard work instructions, and area tools and equipment
Assist engineering team in other various operations productivity improvement or special projects
Assist engineering team in processing, quoting, implementing, launching, and maintaining engineering changes, collaborate with other areas, and provide shop floor support
Recommend fixture and process designs, and assist engineering and quality team in customer corrective Actions
Perform additional responsibilities as required; position is subject to change as the needs of the department change
