About The Position

Ferrellgas knows dedicated superior service starts with supported employees. Blue Rhino is searching for a safety-conscious Forklift Specialist to join our team! Our Forklift specialists safely and efficiently transport raw materials, finished goods and other materials within the production plant and storage yard.

Requirements

OSHA approved forklift certification.
Must be at least 18 years of age to handle Hazardous Materials.
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and perform basic mathematical functions for tracking loading and unloading.
Ability to successfully complete site specific forklift operator training and forklift cylinder filling training as required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Prior related work experience in a light industrial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Completes the truck unload/load forms accurately & legibly.
Counts production fill totals at shift end.
Unloads/loads long hauls, beverage trailers, and common carriers safely.
Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting production shifts with other staffing needs when not operating forklift.
