Sit-Down Forklift Specialist
About The Position
Sit-Down Forklift Specialist Join a plastics manufacturing team in Shelton, CT where your mastery of sit-down forklifts keeps production moving through the night. A night in the role You clock in at 7:00 PM, complete a quick equipment check, and take the seat of a sit-down forklift for most of the shift. You’ll stage materials, load and unload, shuttle product between lines and storage, and hop off periodically to pull orders and scan inventory for accuracy. By 7:00 AM, you’ve helped the team hit production goals with safe, precise moves. Be the steady hand behind the wheel that keeps this Shelton, CT operation on track.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts (required)
- Strong sit-down forklift background (required)
- Comfort with inventory processes and barcode scanning
- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Active forklift license/certification

- Stand-up experience
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts as your primary responsibility
