About The Position

The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within our non-durable goods manufacturing facility located at 5301 Corrugated Road, Richmond. This position is responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies to designated areas in a timely manner. The operator will collaborate closely with warehouse and production teams to maintain smooth workflow and support production schedules. Safety and adherence to company protocols are paramount, as the role involves handling heavy equipment and navigating busy warehouse environments. Ultimately, this position contributes directly to the overall productivity and operational success of the manufacturing process during the second shift.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule reliably and punctually.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols and material handling procedures.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials as required and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse and production areas during the 2nd shift.
