We have an opportunity for a Forklift Operator to join our Manitowoc, WI team. You will move material with a forklift to meet production, shipping, and receiving schedules per company safety requirements while also meeting customer quality expectations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Accurately read, count, weigh and measure.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel)
Regularly lift 40 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds and have ability to use lift equipment.
Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs.
Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.
Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!): 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Previous warehouse receiving and shipping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately locate materials and complete inventory transactions into Oracle
Recharge forklift batteries and/or change propane tanks.
Pass a written test on safe forklift operations and demonstrate the ability to safely operate a forklift.
Operate a forklift per defined procedures and safety practices
Identify and move raw materials and finished product.
Inspect forklift and perform preventative maintenance as required.
