JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective The shipping and receiving position is responsible for multiple warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment. Job responsibilities include verifications and record keeping and preparation of items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate stretch wrap banders and other necessary packaging equipment.
• Identify errors and packaging defects and correct accordingly.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend and twist throughout the work day.
• Knowledge of UPS/FedEx shipping procedures.
• Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and assistance with regards to maintenance functions and other essential tasks as assigned.
• Based on daily need, communicate essential information needed to ensure proper and timely deliveries.
• Comply with safety regulations/procedures and maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Operate a baler/shredder for recycling product.
