About The Position
Using a Power Industrial Truck, either electric or propane, this position is responsible for moving product from the production line to the warehouse or other areas of the plant as needed. This position is also responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks and for moving large rolls of paper and other supplies from storage areas to operators.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of Forklift Experience
- Ability to work weekends and overtime
- Good communication skills
- Basic Math
- High Degree of Accuracy
- Ability to successfully complete OSHA Certified Forklift Training &/or Refresher training
Nice To Haves
- Preferred CDL Certification
- 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Ability to load trailers with finished product to ship to customers
- Ability to unload trailers
- Ability to unload railcars
- Ability to transfer product within the facility
- Ability to store/stack finished product in racks
- Ability to transfer rolls of paper from warehouse to production floor
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control (HACCP) programs to ensure the finish product is safe
- Other duties as assigned by management
