About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for the movement, storage, and inventory of materials and products within the warehouse and production facility. This position ensures that materials are correctly received, stored, staged, and delivered to the appropriate departments or areas as needed, helping to support efficient production and order fulfillment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
• Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production facility.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or shipping documents.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping or production use.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain inventory records and perform cycle counts as directed.
• Label and organize inventory for easy identification and access.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Communicate with supervisors, production staff, and other team members regarding material needs and discrepancies.
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.
