About The Position

The Production Line Material Handler primarily reviews the production schedule daily to ensure there are enough supplies in the warehouse and delivers them to the production lines. This role also involves hauling the finished pack stock from the production lines to the shipping warehouse.

Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Some computer skills necessary.

Able to work with cross-functional departments within the organization.
Good problem-solving skills.
Trained on forklift use and safety.
Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklift for loading, unloading, and moving product.
Excellent communication and organization skills to supply the production lines with the correct supplies with correct codes and dates.
Ability to pull supplies from the warehouse by the oldest dates.
Transfer pack stock to the shipping warehouse.
Fill out and turn-in pack cards with products dates and codes at the end of the day.
Weekly inventory counts for the next weeks schedule.
Gather supplies from other parts of the plant and unload pallet trailers.
Know the hold tag procedures for BBQ and Spun products.
Assist management with the ordering of tier sheets, slip sheets, etc.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
