About The Position

Burial Beer Co. is seeking a reliable and dedicated Dishwasher to join our team at our Forestry Camp Taproom location. Dishwashers are responsible for cleaning dishes to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, and glasses. Duties include prioritizing loads of different types of kitchenware, hand-washing certain items, operating the dishwasher, and organizing clean items for drying and storage. Successful candidates in this role are team-oriented, adaptable to shifting priorities, and able to communicate effectively with coworkers. This position requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks and remain on task in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

At least 1 year of relative experience preferred
18 years of age or older
Willingness to work mornings, nights, and weekend
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to place cases, pans, utensils and plates on both low and high shelves
Able to work in hot and damp environments and tight work spaces

Responsibilities

Maintain sanitary condition of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, equipment and kitchen in accordance with kitchen standards
Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment
Safely and efficiently operates dish washing machine
Ensures proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing
Removes from service any dishes, utensils, and glassware that are damaged or broken
Helps stock delivered food and non-food items
Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all coworkers
Support other functions as assigned including but not limited to: Prep work; taking trash and recycling to dumpster area; washing work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors; coverage of sick/vacation days of other staff members
