About The Position

This opportunity involves collaborating with thought leaders on projects related to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Security Cooperation. The role requires researching, developing, analyzing, assessing, planning, and supporting the Navy in expanding U.S. Security Cooperation objectives. The successful candidate will bring in-depth understanding and expertise in one or more aspects of service or joint missions, processes, and culture, applying advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. The position involves developing innovative solutions to complex problems and working without considerable direction, while also mentoring and supervising team members as needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with FMS case management
  • 7+ years of experience developing FMS cases in the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS)
  • 6+ years of experience in Program Management, Acquisition Management, or International Operations
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of defense acquisition systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, including planning and organization, decision-making, work delegation, and employee development
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Management Information System International Logistics (MISIL), Security Cooperation Information Portal (SCIP), and Information Warehouse (IW)
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
  • Master's degree
  • Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Security Cooperation from Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU), or Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Certification
