About The Position

In this position... Join the Ford Racing team! FR is a small team of dedicated Engineers who turn mainstream Ford vehicles into extraordinary performance machines (based in Allen Park, MI at Roush 57). This Studio role will steer the future of the next Generation of Raptors --- Own Off Road! Lead all aspects of the Studio process (both Interior and Exterior) for the Program Manage trade-offs between Engineering, Design and Finance to deliver “Gotta have it” appearance that delivers on the Ford Racing DNA Develop presentations to clearly communicate with the program team and leadership Deliver Appearance approvals with the Suppliers and support Color Harmony events during launch at the assembly plant

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Science or related degree; or combination of experience and education.
  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Studio, Product Planning, PMT and/or D&R
  • Extensive program management experience with GPDS, including thorough understanding of milestone deliverables and working knowledge of process sheets
  • A passion for performance vehicles, have a can-do/results-driven attitude, and be able to maintain positive/productive working relationships across multiple corporate cultures
  • High degree of self-motivation and willingness to commit extra effort to "get the job done"
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Candidate must be comfortable in speaking and working with Chief / Director level management
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to drive a team to resolution with work plans and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Studio deliverables are on track; working with cross functional teams to develop and execute recovery plans as required
  • Facilitate weekly Appearance Decision forum, Color and Materials PAT and Feas meetings with the cross functional team
  • Track Studio status and report out in weekly PST
  • Interface daily with other Engineers, Studio Personnel, Suppliers and Management to ensure critical decisions are made efficiently and communicated clearly
  • Occasional travel may be required to support vehicle development trips and supplier reviews

  • This position is a salary grade 5 and ranges from $63,480-106,680.
  • This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440.
  • This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360.
  • This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
