At Preston Ford of Aberdeen, we're looking for a driven, customer-focused, road-ready Mobile Technician to join our elite service team. You'll travel to customers, businesses, and fleets in a fully equipped Ford Mobile Service Van, performing maintenance, diagnostics, recalls, repairs, and more-all while delivering an exceptional on-site experience. Requirements

  • Automotive technician experience (Ford experience preferred but not required)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to perform maintenance, light repair, diagnostics, and recall work
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures
  • Ability to use Ford IDS/FDRS diagnostic software (training provided)
  • Must complete all Ford-required training and certifications, including: Ford STARS training Ford Mobile Service training modules Ford diagnostic and electrical training Ongoing Ford web-based and in-person training as released
  • Willingness to maintain and update certifications as Ford standards evolve
  • High level of independence, accountability, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work outdoors, on the road, and in various environments
  • Strong organizational habits to maintain a clean and efficient mobile service van
  • Ability to represent the dealership with trust, confidence, and professionalism
