About The Position

Basic kitchen duties include: preparation, cook, and service of food ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to situation maintain food service facilities and equipment in a neat, clean, safe and sanitary condition prepare, serve and sell foods and snacks assist in the cleaning of the kitchen and serving areas, utensils and equipment other related work as required

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic methods of preparing and serving foods in large quantities
• Knowledge of Type A lunch and breakfast program requirements
• Knowledge of standard food service appliances and equipment
• Knowledge of lunch and breakfast program requirements
• Knowledge of arithmetical calculation processes and simple record keeping procedures
• Ability to operate a variety of food service equipment
• Ability to collect money and make change accurately
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
• Ability to Walking or standing for extended periods
• Ability to Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects from 25-40lbs
• Citizenship, residency or work VISA required
