Responsibilities related to purpose: Custom-build orders including those with dietary restrictions and allergens. Prepare and cook ingredients for menu items such as proteins, vegetables, and other items, ensuring proper doneness. Work to efficiently produce customer orders in a timely manner, while working alongside other kitchen team members to maintain smooth service. Work on hot stations and handle hot equipment. Help to provide a satisfying and delightful experience to our customers. Uphold an enthusiastic, positive energy and attitude. Continuously pursue excellence by learning new workstations and cross training in all areas of The Habit. Work with integrity, do the right thing even when difficult. Complete job tasks and responsibilities well while also helping others to do theirs. Contribute to creating The Habit Difference by working with professionalism and sense of urgency. Meet Habit/Sodexo uniform standards every shift with provided shirt, hat, and nametag (all jewelry and watches are prohibited during shifts). Clean as you go through each station on every shift. Upkeep stations in kitchen to ensure workspace is clean and restocked, assist Front of House in functions and help maintain dining room cleanliness. Participate in monthly training for company, safety, and hazard topics. May include working an opening or closing shift.
