About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Food Service Manager 2 to oversee our dining room operations at Collingswood Manor, a senior care community located in Collingswood, New Jersey. Collingswood has small-town charm with big-city access, just minutes from Philadelphia. We’re looking for a hospitality-driven professional with strong front-of-house leadership experience and a passion for mentoring and training staff. A background in a healthcare setting is preferred. Typical shift is 11:00am - 7:30pm, may vary with every third weekend coverage. Bring your passion for hospitality to a team that values excellence, community, and care.

Requirements

a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement and customer service skills, as well as previous restaurant management / healthcare dining experience
the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
the ability to drive employee success to enhance the value of the food and nutrition team
the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or EquivalentMinimum Management Experience - 1 year

Responsibilities

have oversight of front of house operations for 4 dining rooms
ensure timely delivery of meals to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction
manage a front-of-house team of approximately 30 staff members, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism
interview, hire and train FOH staff
ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests
ensure Sodexo standards are met
