About The Position

Bryn Mawr Hospital is seeking a Food Service Assistant to join their team. This full-time, benefits-eligible position involves maintaining the highest food safety standards and significantly impacting the patient experience. The role includes shifts from 6:00am-2:30pm and 11:30am-8:00pm, with every other weekend and holiday required. Key duties include washing dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service to patients, employees, and visitors.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate English sufficiently
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• One year previous food service experience in a health care environment
• Previous customer service and food service experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest food safety standards
• Wash dishes
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen
• Provide friendly and excellent customer service to patients, employees, and visitors
• Assist with catering events
