Everett's Food Server

Boyne ResortsBoyne Valley Township, MI
Onsite

About The Position

From hearty breakfasts that fuel a morning on the mountain to celebratory dinners that cap off an epic day, Everett's serves guests from first chair to last call. As a Food Server here, you're not just taking orders — you're a key part of the experience guests remember long after they've gone home. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that great service is about more than getting the order right. Everything we do at Boyne Mountain is guided by our core values — L.E.A.D.S.: Long-Term Thinking, Excellence in Execution, Attitude is Everything, Develop Great People, and Serve First. You'll bring those values to every table, every shift. As a Boyne Mountain team member, you'll also enjoy ski passes, golf passes, waterpark passes, and discounts on food, beverages, retail, daycare, and much more! Requirements

  • You are at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • You love people and get genuine satisfaction from making someone's day a little better.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail — you notice the small things, and so do your guests.
  • You thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment and stay composed when the pace picks up.
  • You're available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays — a resort restaurant runs on the guests' schedule, and you're ready for that.
  • You're comfortable on your feet and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous serving or hospitality experience is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn will take you just as far here.

Responsibilities

  • Long-Term Thinking - From day one, you'll immerse yourself in the culture, history, and values of Boyne Mountain — building a foundation that shapes how you think about hospitality and kitchen management for the rest of your career.
  • Serve First - Welcome every guest with genuine warmth from the moment they're seated to the moment they walk out the door. You're not just serving food — you're setting the tone for their entire day at Boyne Mountain.
  • Attitude is Everything - Provide prompt, professional food and beverage service with a smile that doesn't quit — whether it's the breakfast rush before first chair or a full dinner service on a busy weekend night. Your energy is contagious, and guests feel it.
  • Excellence in Execution - Follow up with guests throughout their meal to ensure everything is exactly right. Handle check-outs accurately and efficiently, and maintain your service area so it's always clean, organized, and guest-ready.
  • Support your teammates and step in wherever needed to keep the floor running smoothly.
  • Adhere to all Boyne Mountain and restaurant policies and procedures, including food safety and alcohol service standards.
