This internship will offer real life experience with an international CPG company for a food science student (or a student from a relevant science major). The intern will have firsthand experience working in a quality lab for a best-in-class natural product company. This is an opportunity to work with a diverse family of food products, alongside passionate professionals excited to mentor. The FSQA Intern will be responsible for understanding the physical and chemical characteristics of recipes and how they impact sensory attributes, quality, and safety. The intern will collect quality data, identify non‑conformance trends, and share insights with the Director of Quality and Food Safety. They will also maintain and calibrate all laboratory equipment and create procedures related to quality testing and process frequency. Additionally, the FSQA Intern will capture, update, and document quality parameters for all existing and new products and will assist with troubleshooting and investigations when quality parameters fall outside of specification.
