FOOD SAFETY QA LAB TECHNICIAN
About The Position
Lab Quality Assurance Technician Perform routine lab procedures (sample collection for further testing) Ensure all Certificate of Analyses is correct before sending to customer. Assist in daily pre-op duties Understanding and interpreting lab results Enter daily data effectively and efficiently Conducting and overseeing quality assurance/ Food Safety Promote a Safe work environment for all employees. Monitor SOP's, SSOP's, and GMP compliance of associates, perform HACCP procedures to comply with federal regulations Work with USDA and present records to them at the agency's request Review finished product, processes and records to ensure accuracy and be held accountable to their accuracy. Aid QA supervisor and management in gathering data for investigations Work closely with production associates in monitoring meat product for specifications, and correcting specification deficiencies Assist in other duties as needed
