About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Lab Technician to support manufacturing operations in Miami, OK. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that plastic products meet strict quality, safety, and performance standards before reaching customers across consumer, industrial, and government markets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on laboratory or manufacturing quality experience and a strong commitment to accuracy, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical or laboratory training preferred.
  • Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or laboratory testing within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and inspection processes.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written procedures and specifications.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with production, engineering, and management teams.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move between lab and production areas throughout the shift.
  • Occasional lifting up to 40–50 lbs.
  • Exposure to manufacturing environments, including temperature variations and machinery noise.
  • Required use of PPE and adherence to all safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine quality inspections, tests, and measurements on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Perform laboratory testing related to plastic molding, durability, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
  • Accurately document test results, inspection findings, and nonconformance reports.
  • Support production teams by identifying quality issues and assisting with root cause analysis.
  • Ensure all testing procedures comply with company quality standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain calibration and proper use of lab equipment and testing instruments.
  • Assist with audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a clean, organized, and safety-focused lab and production environment.
