Supervise, manage and direct department team members, ensuring adherence to safe food handling practices and regulatory compliance. Under direction of QA Manager, write and administer HACCP and NPIS programs, updating and revising when necessary. Under direction of QA Manager, write, update and revise SOPs and SSOPs. Verify documented corrective and preventive measures for SSOP, HACCP and NPIS programs, ensuring intention of regulatory requirements are met. Assist with annual HACCP/ Food Safety/NPIS training. Support, train and act as subject matter expert ensuring safe food handling practices and regulatory compliance, HACCP, and SOPs. Lead preparation, and assist QA Manager with 3rd party audits (i.e., BRC, AMS Food Defense, etc.) Produce and distribute HACCP, food safety, laboratory, and production reports. All other relevant tasks as needed.
