It is the primary responsibility of the food runner to assist the servers by cleaning tables and keeping side stations clean and well stocked as well as assisting the kitchen with expediting the service process in order to maintain the flow of service. Perform all side work duties assigned and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant within health code standards. Describe menu items accurately always using proper verbiage Answer any menu questions Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests Notify management of maintenance repair issues Complete other job- related duties as requested by management
