About The Position

A Food Runner is responsible for supporting waitstaff in carrying beverages and meal items to designated tables Essential Job Functions : Assist customers with their orders by explaining specials, meals, and drinks, and make recommendations. Deliver food orders to a variety of customers in a timely manner. Accurately explain food orders to chefs, with specific attention to allergies and special requests. Help the wait staff set up tables by placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, decorations, and napkins. Uphold our food health safety and sanitation principles. Occasionally check on customers to handle any impromptu requests or issues. Remove dirty dishes from the table. Inform management of customer feedback Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately Uphold sanitation and food safety principles Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory Relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations Handle various impromptu requests from customers

Requirements

  • Outstanding communication and people skills.
  • Ability to stay professional in a stressful work environment.
  • Superb multitasking skills.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
