About The Position

The Food Runner / Expo plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional dining experience at Denali Park Village. This position supports the kitchen and serving staff by coordinating, organizing, and delivering food orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality presentation and food safety standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume seasonal environment and takes pride in teamwork, communication, and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Prior food service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and presentation
Ability to follow instructions and multitask effectively
Positive attitude and guest‑service mindset
Willingness to learn multiple aspects of food & beverage operations

Responsibilities

Serve as the liaison between the kitchen and the front‑of‑house team to ensure timely, accurate food delivery to guests
Organize and stage food orders in the expo window according to tickets and service timing
Verify food items for accuracy, presentation, and quality before leaving the kitchen
Deliver food to dining room tables in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner
Communicate clearly with servers, cooks, and kitchen leadership regarding order status, delays, or special requests
Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of expo line, service stations, and dining areas
Support servers and bartenders during peak service periods as needed
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
Uphold Denali Park Village service standards and guest experience expectations
Participate in opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
Exhibit professionalism and teamwork in a seasonal, remote work environment
