About The Position

As a Production Supervisor, you will assist the Executive Chef in the successful operation of food services at a hospital. This role will support areas including kitchen operations, patient services, retail cafe, and catering.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of cook, culinary, dietary aide, or related food service experience
  • Experience in a hospital or related healthcare environment
  • Some supervisory experience preferably in a food service environment
  • Catering and/or high volume batching cooking experience
  • Experience ordering food and supplies
  • Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
  • ServSafe Certification

Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of production employees in order to prepare and deliver a finished food product to the serving areas in an efficient, timely and proper manner.
  • Oversees kitchen operation while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for the staff.
  • Prepares or directs preparation of meals in accordance with corporate programs and guidelines.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
