About The Position

You set the standard for a spotless, safe, and audit-ready facility. From prioritizing SSOP-driven tasks to partnering with Production, Maintenance, and Quality, you keep people, processes, and documentation in lockstep. Every shift, you review sanitation performance, verify GMP and SQF compliance, and ensure the team has what it needs to do the job right—PPE on, chemicals handled safely, and records completed accurately.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience (required)
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and sanitation programs
• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills
• Comfort in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends as needed
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Front-line supervision of the sanitation team, including attendance, performance, and safety oversight
• Daily planning and assignment of cleaning activities aligned to SSOPs, GMPs, and SQF expectations
• Routine inspections to keep the facility continuously audit-ready
• Safe chemical handling and strict OSHA/PPE compliance
• Accurate logs, records, and all required sanitation documentation
• Cross-functional coordination with Production, Maintenance, and Quality
• Training, coaching, and development of sanitation employees
• Tracking corrective actions and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Daily reporting on sanitation performance and priorities
