About The Position

Sanitarians prevent public and internal health problems by enforcing local and company health and sanitation standards. Sanitarians study and evaluate kitchen operations to ensure all procedures are correct and providing the safest level of food preparation to our fans.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews all sanitation audits and local health department audits monthly to ensure progress and execution and takes corrective action as needed.

Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary facility by conducting regular inspections of Levy areas to insure cleanliness and health code standards are met, i.e. soap dispensers, hand towels, cleaning supplies, nail brushes, etc.

Ensures all staff is following health and sanitation standards set forth by Levy and the local health department.

Exhibits the following qualities and behaviors necessary to sustain a performance-based culture:

• Leads the team members of preparing safe food and running a cleanliness operation.
• Energizes the team by training and keeping a positive outlook.

Keeps Department Managers and chefs promptly and fully informed on all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so prompt corrective action can be taken when appropriate.

Thoroughly familiar with the city, state and federal health regulations; food handling and sanitation requirements and trains all staff accordingly to minimize company risk and protect employees and guests.

Recognizes the critical nature of security, legal, and liability issues in today’s business environment, and acts to avoid negative outcomes in these areas.

Develops action plans and solutions to issues/problems in a timely manner.

Works flexible hours, reports to work on time and complies with company dress code.

Completes all other duties as assigned.
