About The Position

Do you have a heart to help others? Would you like to tackle hunger in a tangible way that can also help out fellow students? We are looking for a student who is able to train and coordinate food pantry volunteers, restock items, assist with cost and quality control, and give weekly reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintains food pantry inventory and cleanliness of the pantry such as wiping and sanitizing items and work place areas.
• Recording and shelving items.
• Collect appropriate data to determine food needs in specific areas of the pantry such as which items needs to be relished, who we serve in the pantry, ect.
• Training and supervision of food pantry volunteers.
• Creating work schedules for volunteers.
• Responsible for implementing food pantry policies and procedures.
